Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of CommishAI ("the Service"), a fantasy football league assistant that connects to Sleeper leagues and Discord servers. By connecting a league or subscribing, you agree to them.
What the Service does
CommishAI reads your league's publicly available Sleeper data, stores rules and constitution text that you provide, and uses that material to answer rules questions, generate reports, and post summaries to a Discord server you control.
CommishAI does not handle league money
CommishAI never collects, holds, transfers, or distributes league dues, buy-ins, prize money, or payouts. Your league's money stays entirely in whatever system you already use. The only payment CommishAI processes is its own subscription fee, charged to you.
AI output is assistance, not authority
The Service uses automated systems, including large language models, to interpret the rules and constitution text you supply. Output may be incomplete or wrong. When the Service cannot support an answer from your league's own materials, it is designed to say so and defer to a commissioner decision rather than guess.
You remain solely responsible for every decision made in your league. CommishAI output is not a ruling, and the commissioner's judgment governs. Do not rely on the Service as the final authority in any dispute.
Your responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a subscription.
- You must have authority to connect the Sleeper league and Discord server you link.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the rules and constitution text you enter.
- You must not use the Service to harass others, or attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to it.
- You must keep your league setup link private. Anyone holding it can change your league's rules and constitution.
Subscription and billing
The Service is offered as a recurring per-league subscription billed through Stripe. Prices may change, and any change applies from your next renewal, not retroactively. See Refunds & Cancellation.
Availability
The Service depends on third parties including Sleeper, Discord, Stripe, and AI providers. It may be unavailable, degraded, or interrupted, and is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CommishAI's total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim, and CommishAI is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any dispute or outcome arising within your league.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing here removes any statutory right you have as a consumer.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. CommishAI may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or where required by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
