CommishAI

The AI commissioner for your fantasy league

Every argument, trade and draft-day scramble plays out in your league chat, and none of it is ever remembered. CommishAI sits in your Discord server and gives that chat a memory: rulings that quote your own constitution, votes that actually get counted, a draft board built for your scoring, and a write-up every week nobody has to ask for.

For Sleeper leagues that use Discord. Setup is your league ID and a bot invite, about two minutes.
Not the one setting this up? Here is what this changes for you.

Rulings, not guesses

"Can I still trade after week 11?"

No. Your trade deadline is the Tuesday of week 11, which has passed. Waivers stay open through week 16.

Cited: Article 6.2 — "All trades must be submitted before 11:59pm ET on the Tuesday of Week 11."

"What happens if two teams tie for the last playoff spot?"

Your constitution doesn't cover this. Nothing in your rules defines a tiebreaker for the final seed, so this needs a commissioner decision rather than a ruling from me.

Suggested rule to adopt: break ties by head-to-head record, then total points for.

It will tell you when it doesn't know. A referee that invents a rule to sound confident is worse than no referee at all, so CommishAI never fabricates one — it flags the gap and hands the call back to you.

What it does

Settles rules disputes

Answers questions by citing your league's own constitution and structured rules — and says "this needs a commissioner decision" when nothing actually covers it, instead of inventing a rule.

/refAsk the rules referee a question
/deadlinesTrade deadline, playoffs, waivers, keepers

Holds the vote, counts the vote

A trade veto or a rule change gets put to the league properly: one vote per team, a real deadline, and a result on the record. If too few managers have linked their account to reach a majority, it says so and opens the vote the moment enough have.

/vetoPut the last trade to a league vote
/proposePropose a rule change to vote on

Runs your draft

Posts every pick as it happens, calls you to the clock by name, and answers "who should I pick" with a board ranked for your league's own scoring rather than one generic list. It flags a player who would be your fourth on the same bye week, which is the mistake nobody notices until October.

/pickBest available, ranked for your scoring
/draftorderProvably fair random draft order

Math no commissioner does by hand

Simulates the rest of your season thousands of times, audits every starting lineup in the league, and finds the points your bench left on the table.

/oddsLive playoff odds from 10,000 simulations
/lineupsEmpty slots, bye-week and injured starters
/benchtearsWho got outscored by their own bench
/tradereviewValue-fairness check on the latest trade

Remembers your league forever

Walks your league's full Sleeper history to build a permanent record book — championships, all-time records, and best seasons — that gets richer every year you keep playing.

/historyThe league Hall of Fame

Gives the league chat something to say

Every week it writes up what actually happened, leading with the game that came down to half a point or the one that was over by halftime, and stays quiet when the week was ordinary rather than padding it out. Plus trash talk built from real records instead of generic filler.

/summaryThe week: results, table, lineups, bench
/roastData-grounded trash talk for any team
/engagementWho is actually active this season

How it works

1

Connect your league

Paste your Sleeper league ID. CommishAI pulls in your teams, schedule, and past seasons automatically.

2

Invite the bot

Add CommishAI to your Discord server. It introduces itself, registers every command, and is ready to use immediately.

3

Start asking

Standings, playoff odds and lineup alerts work from the first message. Add your rules and constitution whenever you like — that's what lets the referee quote them.

Not the one setting this up?

Then you cannot set this up, and that is not a hedge: inviting the bot needs control of the Discord server, so it has to be whoever runs yours — your league's CommishAI admin, who may or may not be your Sleeper commissioner. Send them this page. Here is what changes for you once they do.

A read-only link to the league dashboard can be shared with everyone, so standings, playoff odds and every ruling on record are open to the whole league rather than only whoever set it up.

Put someone impartial in charge

$30 a year for leagues up to 8 teams, $40 for 9-12, $50 for 13 or more — one subscription per league, billed separately from anything your league does with dues or payouts. Split any of those across your league and it lands in the same narrow band either way: $3 to $5 a person for the season.
